Perhaps one of the biggest transitions to college life is your living situation. Come fall, you will all be saying goodbye to your bedroom and trading it in for a residence hall room. Though saying goodbye to your home can be a difficult task, the excitement and new friends that await you in your residence hall is well worth the adjustment. I promise!
Here at Black Hills State we have five residence halls, as well as apartment housing for students who are 19 years old or are in their second year of college. All of our residence halls are equipped with WiFi, flat screen TVs in the lobby areas, kitchenettes on some floors, mailboxes and all the essentials that make living away from home a little easier. Oh and did I mention the parking? Yes, all of our residence halls offer plenty of parking spaces for your convenience!
For all of you students who have already applied and have been accepted to the university, the admissions team will be sending out housing contracts very soon. As soon as you receive your contract in the mail, make sure to fill it out and send it back to us with your deposit ASAP. The sooner you hand in your housing contract, the sooner we will be able to assign you to your dream dorm room!
