What countdown am I speaking of you ask?
Well, if you’re currently a high school senior, you are most likely counting down the days until your last official day of high school. If you’re a transfer student, you might be counting down the days of your final semester at your current college, either way we are all beginning a new semester and in five short months (give or take) life is going to change dramatically, especially for all of you high school seniors. I know five months seems like a long time; however it will be here before we know it so get going on the important decisions you need to make NOW!
In order to help you with your college decisions, this week the BHSU Admissions team will be sounding a lot like your high school guidance counselor or perhaps your college academic advisor by encouraging you to start thinking about what happens next. We will be asking some important questions and providing you with the answers to make your application process simpler.
Simple is good, right? Here at BHSU we like to think so, that’s why we make our application process super easy!
So here we go with our first big question of the week…
How do I apply for admission at Black Hills State University?
Simple. I have one word for you, website! BHSU has a wonderful website and we like to think it’s a pretty user friendly one at that! In order to fill out your application, start by visiting www.bhsu.edu/admissions. Here you will find all of the information you need to begin the application process.
When it comes to filling out the actual application, you are welcome to submit the application online by filling it out here or you can simply print & mail your application by clicking here. Please note that we will need your $20.00 processing fee submitted with your application in order to process your application. Also, make sure you are filling out the appropriate application. If you are a high school senior, you will want to fill out the Freshman application. If you are transferring from another university or college, please click on the Transfer application. Don’t forget to send us your high school and/or college transcripts as well!
