Happy Summer Solstice everyone! Even though it's rainy and dreary outside right now, the sun will definitely shine again, proven by the photo to the left taken on a beautiful spring afternoon on campus. Unlike the last few days, the weather was amazing last week when we had 100s of new students congregate on campus to get registered for courses and become official Yellow Jackets. What a great few days it was seeing all your beautiful faces! We can hardly wait for the next New Student Registration (NSR) sessions that will take place on July 8 and 22 at both 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There are still spots available for these dates, in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Therefore, if you are a first time freshman accepted student to BHSU for the fall semester and have not yet attended or registered for an NSR session, sign up TODAY at www.bhsu.edu/nsr.Calling all Transfer students! It is not required for you to attend an NSR session to get registered for fall 2011 classes, but you WILL need to make a registration appointment with Debbie Smoot in the Center for Academic Success. If you are a newly accepted transfer student at BHSU for the fall semester, please call Debbie at 605.642.6106 to schedule an individual appointment to register for classes. Classes are filling up fast, so call Debbie ASAP in order to get the best schedule possible for you!
The fall 2011 semester is unbelievably right around the corner. If you haven't already done so, make your reservation to register for courses so that you can enjoy the rest of summer with no worries. See you on campus soon!
