Hello from the snowy Black Hills! I know that I promised on our twitter page that the snow would be gone for Preview Day today, but I guess I opened my big mouth too soon! The snow came back today, and record lows have been recorded. We are all stunned that this cold weather is here already, but I am hoping, and will risk my reputation as a bad weather predictor, that the weather will get better before getting worse.
We had our first Preview Day of the year today and it was a total success. We ended up having a very small group, but it allowed us to become very informal, and we really got to know the students. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all that traveled up to campus for this event. We were so excited to see you on campus, and hope to see you again soon. For those of you who were planning on attending, and did not make it due to the weather or scheduling conflicts, no worries. Our next Preview Day is Saturday, November 7th.
